Dear friends,
Today being World Health Day, a team of 200 comprising of Rotarians, Rotary partners for GADAP Clean up Coco Cola Beverges employees, WHIO, UNICEF, EPI, Sindh Government Health Employees & Local NGO volunteers participated in a Gadap UC4 Cleanup Campaign.
Four dumps truck and one loader were hired to clean up the garbage. Every one present also gave a helping hand.
Rotary team was lead by District Governor Iqbal Qureshi , District Governor Elect Jalal Sheikh , Chief Zonal Coordinator Masood Bhalli & National Chair Polio Plus Aziz Memon.
Coco Cola team was lead by Senior Executives Nimrara Hafeez & Wali Ahmed.
Deputy Commissioner Ghanwar Leghari participated along with all his staff.
Several TV channels and news paper covered the event and Press release was distributed.
The local community appreciated the work done and we hope this should result in better coverage of UC4 in the forthcoming NIDs 23-25 April, 2012.
